New Writing Project Stiff-Arms Convention, Seeks the Ultimate Momma Joke
Atlanta, GA – 5/4/2010—New writing project conducted by Atlanta chapbook publisher, 84th and 5th Press, challenges writers of all styles and genres to dig deep for their original poetry, prose, flash-fiction and momma jokes.
84th and 5th Press is currently taking submissions for your creative works on the subject, “sticks and stonez,” referring to your interpretations/expressions on one of America’s favorite pastimes—the momma joke! The submission period ends Friday, October 1, 2010. You don’t have to be a writer to participate in this inspiring display of literary and visually artistic talent. The Sticks and Stonez Project welcomes artists and non-artists, as there are fun, rewarding opportunities available for anyone who participates.
The Sticks and Stonez Team is seeking original poetry, prose, flash-fiction, and the wittiest, funniest, most cut-throat, momma jokes you can muster. When the submission period ends, the Sticks and Stonez Team plans to create a beautiful e-book for viewing online, complete with your submitted works, and also visual interpretations of specially-selected works. The proposed publication date is FALL, 2010.
No one is left out. Everyone can participate. And just to spice things up a little, we are throwing in a few contests and giveaways available to everyone who participates in the Sticks and Stonez Project!
